29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
October Theme: Deliverance by Development. We often view deliverance through Jesus’ works in the Gospels as a single event that breaks cycles of infirmity, isolation, or lack of intimacy. Yet in the Church Age, God also intends the gathering of believers, the preaching and teaching of His Word, and discipleship and assimilation to bring inward transformation visible in daily life. Deliverance can interrupt a condition in an instant, while development unfolds over time through our choices and the ways God’s Word shapes our experiences. Just as time with Jesus formed the disciples, He forms us today. Join us this October as we deepen our understanding of deliverance through God’s process of development.
